My Background

As a farmers wife and artist I began to take photographs of sheep, sheep led to landscape and the onset of children led to portraiture . The Galleries on my website are a perfect reflection on my life - A mixture of Farming and Photography with a scattering of Young Farmers and Sporting events to add a bit of sparkle.  Wedding Photography is the icing on the cake (excuse the pun!) and I feel very honoured to be asked to be part of anyone's special day and it has become a part of the job which I love.

We farm in the Lune Valley between Sedbergh and Kirkby Lonsdale in the midst of some of the most beautiful scenery in England. It is this inspiration of shape, light and colour that I hope to transfer into the photographs that I take. 

My design background gives me good spacial awareness which is invaluable from the planning,  capturing the images through to the album layout if you wish.
